Freightliner are a freight operating company, owned by Genesee & Wyoming. They were founded at privatisation in 1995. The Freightliner Group also operates in Poland and Australia.
GB Railfreight currently operates a fleet of 10 Class 08 diesel shunters, 127 Class 66 diesel locomotives, 19 Class 70 diesel locomotives, 16 Class 86 electric locomotives and 10 Class 90 electric locomotives.
