Discussion relating to the Manchester Metrolink.
The Metrolink is a light rail network located in Greater Manchester, first opened on 6 April 1992 and extended many times. There are 93 stations on the network, served using a fleet of 120 Bombardier Flexity Swift M5000 trams, built between 2009 and 2017, following the retirement of the older AnsaldoBreda T-68 and T-68A trams by 2014. Services are operated along eleven lines; route A from Altrincham to Etihad Campus, route B from Altrincham to Deansgate-Castlefield, route C from Bury to East Didsbury, route D from Bury to Piccadilly, route E from Piccadilly to Eccles and MediaCityUK, route F from Manchester Airport to Cornbrook, route G from Rochdale town centre to Ashton-under-Lyne, route H from Shaw and Crompton to Exchange Square, route I from Rochdale town centre to Exchange Square, route J from Victoria to Ashton-under-Lyne and route K from Manchester Airport to Firswood.
