Discussion relating to CrossCountry.
CrossCountry are the current holder of the New CrossCountry rail franchise, having taken over from Virgin CrossCountry on 11 November 2007. CrossCountry's franchise is scheduled to run until Octobher 2019. The franchise is currently operated by Arriva.
CrossCountry's fleet currently consists of 5 InterCity 125 sets, 29 Class 170 Turbostar units, 34 Class 220 Voyager units, and 23 Class 221 Super Voyager units. Long distance services are operated across the United Kingdom.
