Discussion relating to London Midland.
London Midland are the current holder of the West Midlands rail franchise, having taken over from Central Trains on 11 November 2007. London Midland's franchise is scheduled to run until 31 October 2017. The franchise is currently operated by Govia, a joint venture between Go-Ahead and Keolis.
London Midland's fleet currently consists of 3 Class 150/1 Sprinter units, 8 Class 153 Sprinter units, 23 Class 170 Turbostar units, 27 Class 172 Turbostar units, 7 Class 319 units, 26 Class 323 units and 77 Class 350 Desiro units. Services are operated along the West Coast Main Line and throughout the West Midlands. Additionally, services provided by Pre Metro Operations on the Stourbridge Town Branch Line using two Class 139 railcars are currently branded as the London Midland Stourbridge Shuttle, and are included as part of the London Midland network.
