Discussion relating to the Edinburgh Trams.
The Edinburgh Trams is a light rail network located in Edinburgh, opened on 31 May 2014. There are 15 stations on the network, served using a fleet of 27 CAF Urbos 3 trams, built between 2009 and 2011. The Urbos 3s are numbered 251-277.
Services are operated along one line, from Edinburgh Airport to York Place.
The Edinburgh Trams are currently operated by Edinburgh Trams, Ltd., a subsidiary of Transport for Edinburgh. The network is not tendered, unlike most light rail/metro networks in the UK, and as such is publicly-owned.
All information correct as of 4 July 2016.
