Discussion relating to Abellio Greater Anglia and the Stansted Express.
Abellio Greater Anglia are the current holder of the Greater Anglia rail franchise, having taken over from National Express East Anglia on 5 February 2012. Abellio Greater Anglia's franchise is scheduled to run until 15 October 2016. The franchise is currently operated by Abellio.
Abellio Greater Anglia's fleet currently consists of 15 Class 90 locomotives, 5 Class 153 Sprinter units, 9 Class 156 Sprinter units, 12 Class 170 Turbostar units, 46 Class 317 units, 94 Clas 321 units, 21 Class 360/1 Desiro units (branded for Stansted Express) and 30 Class 379 Electrostar units (branded for Stansted Express). Services are operated from London Liverpool Street out along the Great Eastern Main Line to various locations across East Anglia including Ipswich and Norwich, as well as the dedicated Stansted Express services.
